Hartley Enterprises is a company that pioneered the Hayabusa V8. Basically, they took two Hayabusa engines and engineered a crankcase, crankshaft, camshaft drive and oiling system to turn this new engine into a high HP screamer.
450 HP from a 3 liter V8 that revs to about 10k all day.
They stuffed this thing into a car called the Radical SR8 and it currently is the fastest car on the Nordshcleife and held this record for years.
The sound is intoxicating.Last edited by DBFIU; 01-04-2011 at 12:19 PM.
Some people live long, meaningful lives.
Other people eat shit and die.

Read about this a while back. Definitely something I wish I owned. Too bad it is so expensive.......
I want to see one in a Lotus Super 7. Wonder what it could do with boost..........

I really think this engine is gold. One of my favorite all time engines.
It makes near F1 power/liter figures. Some people live long, meaningful lives.
Other people eat shit and die.

The referred article says it does 650 bhp with mild boost.
There are two theories to arguing with women. Neither one works
