Maybe the info is all wrong but sub 3000 pounds with 400 horses at $55k sounded too good to be true anyway.
Way to good to be true. I never for a minute believed the sub 3k weight.

    New info:

now that this information has apparently been dispersed to marketing teams worldwide, some of the new info circulating is as follows (subject to change but unlikely):

    SZ - 4cyl, NA
    SZ-R - 6cyl, 3070lbs
    RZ - 6 cyl 3350lbs

starting price for SZ still appears to be $40,000USD

    Chief engineer:

The Toyota man also said that the 2.0-liter car will be lighter, have "much better weight distribution," and sharper turn-in. Should make it the purist's choice, especially considering Tada's instructions to those who intend to perform a 2JZ engine swap: "Please buy the four-cylinder. It will be cheaper."

i don't get why they power is so low, hp doesnt really cost money any more with boost from a production level, i know they have to worry about emissions and fuel economy though
