Pure Turbos Stage 2 F80 M3 S55 annihilating a 700 horsepower Mercedes-AMG W205 C63 S

This BMW F80 M3 belongs to @Peter @ Pure/PTF and you have seen it in action previously kicking some serious ass. Well, he took it out to an event in Germany and ran this 700 horsepower Mercedes-AMG W205 C63 S.

It sure does not feel like the C63 has 700 horsepower based on the result. The F80 M3 crushes it. Hopefully we learn what turbos/tune the C63 has.

As for the M3 mod list:

- Pure Stage 2 high flow turbos
- Fuel-it platinum pi and st4 lpfp aic standalone controller
- Bootmod3 flash by @lfelunden - meth standalone with torqbyte controller
- Eventuri intake system
- VRSF catless downpipes
- FTB chargepipes
- BMS aluminum race exhaust
- Litespeed Racing forged magnesium wheels

Those who were worried about how the F80 M3 would stack up to the W205 C63 in straightline speed were wrong to worry. The F80 M3 is the straightline and track champ between the two currently. Being lighter with a DCT transmission provides dividends.

Why do they quote it as 700+ hp then? Odd. Seems they wanted to exaggerate the difference.

They should have done a better job listing the Mercedes mods but either way the F80 M3 crushes it.

Owner was running st2 turbos, catless dps and stock ic and pump fuel. It was a hot day maybe it got high iats and pulled timing and loose power?
maybe the m3 makes a bit more power too

So the C63 is on upgraded turbos. Whose turbos and tuning?

Back when I had my C32 AMG, I remember a lot of the Mercedes owners using brake horse power instead of WHP, especially those outside of the U.S. I’m not sure why, since it is impossible to get an accurate figure with the engine still in the car.

Hopefully on the next SCC500 event we see more competition on this platform ...Would be interesting to see it on a event how they do against RR or Kotte in real life and not just comparing some gps laptimer times...
