Learning Dyno Curves - Recognizing a Race-Friendly Dyno Graph

I found this on the web today, thought it was actually a good article; the last page shows what a well designed-for-NA head with aftermarket boost does to a dyno (hint: it's amazing)

    Cheers.

Yeah it definitely explains it very simply. I am going to forward this to some people I know.

Yeah the "automagic traction control" thought had occurred to me before with a gently decreasing torque curve but this article lays it all out very nicely and starts off simply so most can understand.
I also really liked the diagrams of optimal shift points and determining how close ratio your gearbox needs to be to match power before the shift to after so you don't blow the tires off.
That 1400 whp supra example at the end is amazing. I don't know any details about that car but seems like an impossible powerband. They must have used nitrous to spool that huge turbo early on? Either way it looks 1000% better than the other 1000whp supra example.
