Lol I was kidding. Throwing a random number out. But evos are cars that can be made very fast for cheap, as you prob know. A buddy of mine has a 2.3 liter engine from ams in his 8 and his car puts down 650-700 on c16.

500+whp Evo 9 would be the sh*t.. Their reliable as hell. I've got 3 friends with between 700 and 900whp and they drive them every damn day. Highlight of the day is crushing the dreams of an unsuspecting 1000cc crotch rocket.

They have always looked hideous to me, winged or not. This is not to undermine their unreal performance potential. They are no joke.

i think the evo ix mr is a nicer car, dark blue one in perticular i like...

their transmissions are terrible though, outside of that they are pretty darn reliable... there are also a ton of poser engine builders in the evo scene that royally screw up motors, but this can all be solved by having a brain that functions properly that allows you not to choos joe blow engine builder bc they charge 1/4 of the price of a shop that will do it correctly....

The tranny syncos will go just about every 30k miles with 400+ hp ( if you do not upgrade) ... not really sure how many good upgrade options are out there but I am sure theres a bunch but a build for around 10k will get you a 9 second car that can be driven every day if you dont mind the rawness of the car and some pretty nasty lag....


My buddy had one with 805whp on c16 550 on pump, it wa an 8 with no spoler with a nice quite exhaust and I witnessed that car eat alive a 900hp sc cobra on the street and a zr1 with a ton of work in back to back pulls

I kind of felt the same way a few years ago.. I've since seen plenty of them that have changed my perspective.

My buddy with JMS has one of the cleanest I've seen.. Not to mention it lays down 900whp
