Porsche chooses Goodyear Eagle F1 SuperSport RS rubber for the 991.2 GT2 RS and GT3 RS
Well, this is as big as endorsements for performance tires get. If Porsche wants your rubber on their top track cars, you know the tires are serious performers. BoostAddict featured the new Goodyear Eagle F1 SuperSport range a couple months back.
Porsche is sold on the high performance F1 SuperSport RS version:
Porsche has homologated the Goodyear Eagle F1 SuperSport RS – the most race-focused member of the new Eagle F1 SuperSport range, for the 911 GT2 RS and Porsche 911 GT3 RS. This approval covers the sizes 265/35 ZR 20 (99Y) XL and 325/30 ZR 21 (108Y) XL. The homologated Goodyear Eagle F1 SuperSport RS tyres bear the Porsche N0 marking and will be sold through the Porsche dealer network.
Now how about actually releasing the tire to the public and in other sizes? For example, to fit other Porsche 911 models? This enthusiast in particular want this rubber on his 911.
