    ~800 whp built F10 M5 vs. Kawasaki ZX-10R on E85

This Kawasaki ZF-10R is said to be making 200 whp on E85. That is not a bike anything short of a monster car can play with on the highway. Fortunately this F10 M5 makes over 800 wheel horsepower depending on boost and it is said to be at 26 psi for the run.

Is it? Who knows but what is clear is it gets a lead only for the bike to take it back and the F10 M5 to come on strong at very high speed due to aerodynamics.

The M5 is tuned by DME Tuning and they refer to this as a 'Stage 4' tune. The owner states the mod list as:

    - MSR intake
    - JB4 with meth injection
    - DME Stage 4 tune
    - DSS axles
    - Upgraded DCT clutches
    - GTX3071R turbochargers
    - Akrapovic catless exhaust
    - CSF intercoolers
    - BBS F1-R on R888R's

The other bike you see in the video is also a ZX-10R but with a lighter rider and it pulls both.

As a zx10r owner I can tell you that rolling from the wrong RPM makes a huge difference on that bike. I don't think this race would have been so close if the rider had dropped a gear before they took off.

That M5 is no doubt very fast, and clearly has a higher top speed but raw acceleration still favors the bike pretty handily.

"Built F10 M5" mislead me to believe the engine was built...guess not

perhaps the torque was kept lower to reduce rod stress?

Yeah sorry, my fault there. Built trans, axles, not motor.

I don’t think they tune for torque in the s63 world. IMO , w/Axles, turbos, and DCT clutches they went all out at 26psi....

Zx10 does 186 mph (299kmh) unless its electronic limiter is removed.. in which case you can squeeze out 3-4 more mph..

IIRC, gear limited to 219 MPH at the stock rev limiter.
