Tuned McLaren 650S Spider vs. Pure Turbos Stage 2 High-Flow turbo upgraded F80 M3

The F80 M3 in the video is the same car from the other day that belongs to @Peter @ Pure/PTF and it created some controversy absolutely annihilating a W205 C63 AMG S with upgraded turbochargers.

People thought the C63 only had a tune and bolt ons but this video puts the speed of the F80 M3 in context against very, very stout competition.

A McLaren 650S in stock form is no joke and very difficult for most cars to handle especially an F80 M3. It is not stock either as it has an ECU tune. That means it should be a roughly ~140 trap car.

This M3 has no trouble with it. The Spider owner should have had the top up but really the M3 is just much faster and definitely making 700+ whp.

    Impressive.

Isn’t the M3 close to 500lbs heavier, so how can it have less advertised power 700hp than the 650s @720hp and still win?

No compute, but sometimes that’s the way it goes....

We have recaro pole position seats installed. BMS race exhaust also shaves some weight. The wheels are 6.4kg front and 7.1kg rear (forged magnesium). It still has the interior in the rear.

In september we'll be back with more stuff to do even bigger carnage Click here to enlarge Stay tuned!
