You do not need CVN fix to restore to stock without leaving traces.
This solution is already released yesterday for BMW Fxx OBD Flasher:

About US tuners, no. Until now no serious proposals from US tuners.

I think the current hardware is for major tuners because it doesnt have a vin lock from what I read on the website so you can flash as many cars as you'd like. The device magic makes from my understanding can flash any map from any competent bmw tuner, but they would hope to find a US based vendor so they can start selling consumer grade equipment thats when us end users can really take advantage of their stuff. I think they also said if they do not find a US company they'll just start a US based franchise to sell their stuff. Hopefully magic can correct me if I made any mistakes in my interpretation.

Excactly.
We sold in last week approx 140 BMW tools to US tuners, nut most of them are local tuners without logistic structures to cover US market. When i talk about parthership i mean to find a big reliable tuner which we can support with our knowledge and technology.
At this moment we are talking about distribution in US with 2 big companies.
And if in next months we will not find reliable tuner in US , no problem.
We will open R&D structure in California and next year you will see lot of changes in chiptuning business in US
Best regards
