The Tesla claim to fame is acceleration off the line. The P90D is all wheel drive with two electric motors and an absurd amount of torque. It is all about off the line acceleration. The Audi RS6 with the 4.0 TFSI is no slouch off the line though with a twin turbo V8 and all wheel drive.

This is the Performance edition RS6 which means 597 horsepower. As this is a wagon the weight is going to be pretty close between the two. The Audi may have a 100 pound advantage.

Top Gear does not list trap speeds because that would make too much sense. The Tesla edges out the RS6 which makes for a better video of course. Simply throw a tune on the RS6 and it will destroy the Model S from a stop or a roll.
