    Bootmod3 doing work - PTF tuned F26 X4 M40i vs. F80 M3 ZCP, Active-8 tuned F34 335GT, and JB4 tuned F15 X5 35i

PTF (Pro Tuning Freaks) Bootmod3 software is getting quite a bit of attention and deservedly so. It fills an important void with newer turbo BMW's offering features and remote tuning that were not previously possible through a flash tune.

This F26 M40i has the Stage 2 PTF N55B30T0 software which is modified slightly. The full mod list is below the video but let's look at how the car does against some stout BMW rivals.

A ZCP or Competition Package F80 M3 is up first. Keep in mind, the M3 is much lighter sending power to the rear wheels. The X4 actually wins from a roll! BimmerBoost would have bet money the M3 would pull up top. This M3 does look like a manual example however and the driver may need to work on rowing those gears.

Next up is the Active-8 tuned 335 GT but the camera angle makes it tough to see how the car does. What is clear is that the X4 M40i pulls it.

    You also get a three way between the 335 GT and a JB4 tuned F15 X5 xDrive35i. Against the X4 M40i pulls.

The X5 and the X4 square off for a final run but the X4 easily pulls again.

Who knew an X4 M40i could be this quick?

So an N55 with a tune and DP, in an SUV, traps like 116+?

That makes it even more impressive but I just can't understand it. The Competition Pack should trap close to 120. How are you pulling it like that? Maybe he short shifted early or something?

I believe having good Low End Torque, this car does 4.7s 0-62 stock and 13.1 1/4 mile, I would imagine its going to really do its thing under 100mph. Friend in F80 ZCP prob was driving M instead of letting his DCT do the thing ? Not sure but we'll be running again

Will be posting a few more runs of this weekend coming up against
    - 13' 335 rwd 6mt FBO jb4 e40 mix on map2/5 (ran last night finishing video now)
    - M235 awd auto fbo + flash
    - M235 rwd 6mt fbo + flash
    - m235 fbo jb4
    - 435 rwd auto fbo + jb4
    - M2 dct jb4
    - M2 FBO dct Bootmod3
    - 13' 335 awd/auto fbo Bootmod3

All cars lighter are at least 400lbs+ lighter, my car weighed in at 4455lbs (stock 20's OEM wheel, full tank + driver). I'll probably be looking into a lighter 19/20 rim option that saves 10-15lbs per corner soon. Also my Map is still in its final beta stage but unbelievable performance compared to previous 7 months usage with jb4.

    That's a nice list.

Would love to see an M3/M4 in there too!

Another run against F80 ZCP DCT this time he's on 19's M wheels and this time against a RKTunes DP+E40 blend tuned F10 535 awd/Auto that put down 383whp 524wtq on Dynocom 2 weeks ago.
