2009 BMW 335xi automatic with VTT GC N54 turbochargers vs. 2014 Cadillac CTS-V drag race

BimmerBoost member @pits200 has an automatic BMW 335xi with the VTT GC N54 turbocharger upgrade. The car has 115k miles on it and has not exactly been babied as it has been tuned for over 100k miles at this point.

This is important to point out as the GC upgrade is obviously making big torque but his trans is holding the power at 26 psi of boost. It is running well as the drag race video below will testify to.

He knows the transmission is on borrowed time but so far with a TCU flash it's holding together and not slipping. You can read his build thread here if you like.

If it's not posted it's probably not great. The start didn't look very fast.

Well I have my only time I got to go to the track so it is an enthusiast to enthusiast comparison you can decide if it is apples to apples or not. I got three runs in on my DOC 6266 setup before I was told I could not run anymore. This was on Terry's Single off the shelf BEF map for MHD map 5 at 26 psi.

I just copied pasted my experience from the day and posted you can go to link if you feel like reading.
Launching was an issue but something that always has been. I thought I would get more passes in that day, and since this was the first time for the single setup at the track these launches were not aggressive they were more in the 70% range of aggressiveness for how I would launch to try and break stuff that being records or car lol.
Unfortunately only got 3 passes in, one in map 4 (23 psi) the other two Map5 (26 psi).
Map 4 was a shake down pass and the passes in map 5 were to get better at launching before doing map 7 (28 psi) sadly after my two consecutive 133 passes in map 5, I was politely asked to leave. 130 seems to be there cut off for a daily grocery getter.
As you can see launching is the issue. Next time I hope to get the 60 below 2.0 and into 1.8 area and back into the 10 territory before I am booted.

For a website that talks trash about others that show races without providing data this post sure doesn't have a whole lotta data.

The idea perhaps was to get @pits200 to post that slip so we would have the data...

I'm not sure why he's not posting it.
