650 whp Pure Turbos Stage 2 upgraded BMW 335i N54 vs. 770 whp Camaro ZL1

This is not the new ZL1 but the previous generation model with the LSA 6.2 liter supercharged V8. It is a potent mill that is easily upgraded and the car has 770 rear wheel horsepower. Definitely not something easy for just any N54 to take down.

The 335i features the Pure Stage 2 N54 turbo upgrade. Additionally, it has an MHD E85 tune with a JB4 piggyback, MMP inlets/outlets, Fuel-It! Stage 2, VRSF FMIC, downpipes, BMS meth kit, and 200 pounds weight reduction.

The weight reduction is certainly a big factor as it puts the 335i at roughly 800 pounds under the ZL1.

It is a good run between the two until the ZL1 misses a gear. Basically, it's even. Strong showing for the BMW.

    335i N54 mods FBO, pure turbos + cm17 of meth, MMP inlets, JB4 tuned with MHD BEF, E35 fuel - 2nd gear 16psi(450whp) 3rd gear 23psi(600whp) 4th-6th @25psi- est 650whp gutted

ZL1 mods: FBO + built 408 stroker motor stage3 cam 15psi on stock lower, E85 tuned 770whp dynojet, gutted

Why does the hood start to lift? Is that some aftermarket carbon fiber or fiberglass hood?

You mention "gutted" next to both cars so the ZL1 also had weight reduction...any idea how much? is the 800lb advantage including the ZL1 weight reduction?

This was my race 😂 The whole back seat was gutted along with the trunk. I would assume 200lbs. Carpet too. Think he still said the car weighed 4200. But my car was down to 3150 on that day.

Also this is when my car was having trans issues at 25psi. So I had to lift for shifts as it was falling back into the previous gear. That's why I was falling back and then pulling. Currently I'm at 29psi with ASBR = 90 and no trans issues.

How do i upload the pics of his motor. I think it's pretty badass and you guys would get a kick out of it.
