FBO N54 on meth w/inlets crushed by supercharged E90 M3 DCT S65
This race certainly gives perspective on the performance advantage offered by a dual clutch transmission. Why is that? Because this same automatic E92 335i ran a manual transmission supercharged E90 M3. The result previously was a very close race. This time around with a DCT M3 there is quite an advantage for the M3.
This is the same DCT ESS VT2-625 supercharged E90 M3 featured in a video a few days ago going up against a manual ESS VT2-625 supercharged E90 M3. It belongs to BimmerBoost member @dnotorious and it certainly is performing quite well.
The N54 looks like it needs a turbo upgrade to top this particular E90 M3.

I think everyone knows an FBO N54 on stock turbos can't hang with an M3 with a DCT and 625hp. No surprise here.

This video is a good example showing how critical big turbos are for the top end game (even with inlets and meth). Mid range isnt worth anything at high speeds where horsepower and displacement kick in.

For the record the N54 wasn't running right compared to the 6MT run. Boost solenoids were failing and car was maxing out WGDC while only hitting 21-22psi and falling on its face uptop instead of 25psi vs the 6MT run.

First run there's no honk and the m3 just goes wot like a noob and he let's off as soon as the GTR gets even.
Second run there's 3 honks but you can't hear it because the bike is loud. Gtr never jumped once and pulls 4+ cars
Third run, m3 jumps on the second honk and let's off after 2 car deficit.
Same gtr gets retuned for more power and pulls on a 660whp/750wtq F10 M5 and 630whp/750wtq E63.
