Though this is naturally aspirated motor versus naturally aspirated motor it is a mismatch of a race. The Voodoo V8 under the hood of the GT350 is spectacular and on par with the world's best naturally aspirated V8's as BoostAddict detailed but it simply is overmatched by the 730 horsepower Ferrari F12.

The Ferrari has the larger 6.3 liter V12 which makes more horsepower and torque (509 lb-ft) than the GT350 5.2 liter V8 at 526 horsepower and 429 lb-ft of torque. It is also mated to a quicker shifting dual clutch transmission whereas the GT350 has a traditional manual. The Ferrari also only weighs roughly ~100 pounds more than the Mustang.

You can see in the video on the first gear shift the F12 just takes off. There is nothing the GT350 can do about this. Well, other than get some boost.

The end trap speed has the Mustang trailing the Ferrari by 12 miles per hour which is simply a night and day difference. The Voodoo sounds glorious in action if that is any consolation prize.
