@135pats, i picked up some 4" buffing pads to help with accessibility and maneuverability. Outside of that, i don't focus on them too hard because i know they are going to get beat up; its a "best efforts" kind of thing for me.

You could also look into doing the 3M clear bra material along them to help protect things. I've had rocks kick up from the front wheels (especially when running sticky tires) that chips the paint away in the fender wheel.

Thanks for the advice brotha...Sounds like they're for the most part "you do what you can" parts. Frustrating but it is what it is.

I should look into smaller buffing pads, it's just such a pain to get down that low for paint correction. I'm lazy and just can't be bothered to do a proper correction on the sideskirts.

If you don't have a roll around mechanics chair, I highly recommend you pick one up. Makes doing the low spots much easier. Outside of that, i wouldn't worry about it. Eyes generally don't gravitate to the low areas much.

How well does the back to black stuff work? I actually have some really faded nasty parts on my car too, I gotta try to fix it... hopefully this is the stuff that'll do the trick ?

If works pretty good, but it's not permanent. Needs to be reapplied every week or two depending on your environment/exposure to the elements. If the fading is severe, I wouldn't even try it though.
