Weistec 3.0 liter blown W204 C63 AMG taking down a 700+ hp 6466 STI and heads/cam C6 Vette on the streets

The Weistec 3.0 liter twin screw is a big blower that pushes some big horsepower and torque on the AMG M156 6.2 liter V8. All that instant torque down low turns a W204 C63 AMG into a monster on the street (providing the car can hook up and put the power down of course).

The video below shows a Weistec Stage III supercharged C63 AMG in action. The first run in the video is from a stop against a Subaru WRX STI with a Precision 6466 turbocharger. Power is in the 700 horsepower range.

The C63 gets the jump on the STI in the first run and just pulls away from it. The AMG just looks far stronger than the STI. The second run between the two has the STI get a much better launch putting its all wheel drive to work. It gets the lead and holds it through the first two gears as the C63 starts to run it down. Run it down it does as the C63 top end has it pull by strongly and keep on pulling.

The next run is against a C6 Corvette with upgraded heads and what certainly sounds like a big cam. It is not specified whether it is on an LS2 or LS3 but horsepower is stated to right at about 500 wheel horsepower. The C6 is of course much lighter than the C63 by roughly 700 pounds depending on the options in either car.

The Vette puts up a good fight but the torque of the C63 just gives it the advantage down low opening up a lead that is held. The second run between the two is at a higher speed roll and it makes for a very interesting and close race. The C6 edges a bit up top although it is basically neck and neck.

A very strong C63 on the stock M156 motor with a built transmission. Owner states it is 692 wheel horsepower at 10 psi although based on the results and Weistec's own Stage III numbers at that boost it should be closer to the low 600's than 700. Great runs either way.
