Thats why the all new huracan will most likely to be the king of the hill when it comes to roll racing. DCT + Big motor + Big turbos + AWD = GAME OVER.

It also has port injection + direct injection which should make things interesting in the fuel department.

Once they figure out the direct injection, and how to tune it, UGR is going to once again, raise the bar for roll racing...... And us GT-T guys STILL haven't caught up. We FINALLY manged to get a kill. Ivey built Alpha 16 nabbed a 2R from a roll and on video.... It only took 23042342039 races for it to finally happen lol

It's going to be at about the top of German performance (R8 aka Gallardo in drag excluded).

The GTR just has room for monster turbos. If the M3 did too it would win.

It's not too much about turbo/power, but more so chassis and traction. At the big power levels these guys run 1500+ ANY rwd platform will just not be able to hook on an un-prepped surface like UGR cars/GTRs. The roll race events are all done on street prep like surfaces. Even if you were to build a 1800hp M3, and ran a big sticky tire, with a very well setup suspension and trick boost by gear in the tune, the fact is by the time the M3 got into its high boost gears, the AWD cars (which can utilize more power, sooner) would be so far ahead. On the streets, AWD just can't be beat. NOW, on a prepped surface ie Drag racing, RWD owns hands down.

You certainly have a valid point here. How much power do you really want? At 1000+ everything is already insane.

I only trap 150 in the quarter and 185 in the half. Big boys are 200+ and UGR cracked 230 in the half a couple weeks back... It's getting absolutely absurd lol.

Bingo, personally, 1050 wheel is plenty for me. Car is still very drivable (I daily it when it's nice out) and very reliable. Makes 750 on gate, which is still plenty to have fun with and smash most anything that tries to pick a fight. Some people HAVE to be the fastest... My pockets aren't deep enough for that, nor do I have a desire to have a car that breaks at every other event.

Some people do have to be the fastest. That's why I'll just stick to trying to be the fastest E9X or maybe overall BMW one day.

Trying to compete for the outright title is an exercise in futility plus they one up each other every day. It's getting to the point that someone will bust out a street legal funny car.
