Do you have any footage? Some other company had a similar setup, the footage was extremely shaky.

I wouldn't imagine the footage wouldn't be any shakier than mounting to another location on the car as long as they bolts were tightened down very tight.

Yes we do. We were at Sebring this past weekend with a new Z28 and got some plate footage. I think it came out pretty good. Let us know your thoughts.

I feel a key to that is our socket for the thumb screw that really lets you tighten down the mounts.

At what frame rate and res is this? did you do anything in post for stabilization?
It is less shaky than the footage i saw before, but the mount was placed on the front tags not the rear. I feel the rear seems more stable. however, every car is different.

the best spot to avoid vibration would be to mount it on the most stable part of the car frame. But in reference to the tag mount / angle, perhaps some cushioning layer or padding such as 3m double tape between the mount and the body panel will help absorb some noise.

1280x720 59.94fps are what the settings are which I believe is what comes out of the box because I just charged the camera and hit record. We did not do anything to make it more stable besides use our thumb screw socket to lock down all the bolts on the camera and the 2 factory posts that you used. We mounted to the top oem plate bolts. I think the mount being billet once mounted makes it very solid.
