Modded E60 M5 vs Modded C63 AMG
Hey guys, some more fun racing videos.. This time hunting down a C63 again.
E60 M5:
Evolve Alpha N tune
OEM RPI de-catted headers
RPI GTS Exhaust
RPI pulley
RPI air scoops + BMC filters
RPI oil cooler
vs
C63 AMG
Fully Catless, modded with filters + charcoal delete
Video quality is off a crap crap!!! cell phone from a friend as no go pro around..Apologizes..
But non the less shows the modded M5 pulling nicely.
In C63 race 1
In M5 view race 2: C63 gets jump, M5 goes fishing
15mph roll..
Just want to take a moment aswell and give a Big thanks to Evolve.. Their tune is running amazing!! The power and the consistent delivery is just amazing! I am extremly happy how my car is running and performing. They make the best tunes for this V10 motor by far!
I also wanted to give a small write up here showing how my car performed with the evolve tune vs the ESS tune aganist the same exact C63:
Compare my M5 pulling aganist the C63 here with the evolve tune:
vs how my M5 pulled here with the ESS tune aganist the same exact C63 with same mods. With my evolve tune in the above video, i am pulling away much faster and harder then i am here.

Going to repost what I put in another thread
@5soko setup a great run with some cool guys. Lined me up with a stage 3 evolve alpha-n m5 car is FBO Fully catless OEM Headers, rpi gts full exhaust, rpi intake scoops with oiled filters, rpi oil cooler, ESS SMG software, Underdrive pulley, alpha-n maf delete with stage 3 evolve tune revving out to 8600 rpm. My mods are listed in my build thread but pretty similar power mods besides my upgraded throttle bodies.
3 runs all from 45-180+ so these were full top end pulls that the s85 loves especially with alpha-n revving that high. I took all 3 runs the last one being the best we started at 45 i was accused of jumping the last run (which i didnt) so i let them take the hit. Was able to run him down pretty quick put about a 1.5 to 2 car lengths up to 100 mph where the c63 torque is an advantage. From 100-130 he slightly came back and crept up about half car length to make it about 1-1.5 car lengths (c63 ahead). Then from 130-180 i completely stopped his pull and it stayed there with me ahead all the way to a bit over 180 !!! Great run from two N/A beasts the gopro footage should be up but I believe @5soko said you can't see much in the videos.
I was just running my Off the shelf eurocharged pump gas map(stock redline my high rev map was giving me issues) im having a custom tune setup with jeremy from OE tuning in the next few weeksLast edited by ezec63; 07-07-2014 at 03:22 PM.

That m5 does really well then!! I would of thought with those mods the c63 should of pulled harder?

Did you read the m5 mod list?
stage 3 evolve alpha-n m5 car is FBO Fully catless OEM Headers, rpi gts full exhaust, rpi intake scoops with oiled filters, rpi oil cooler, ESS SMG software, Underdrive pulley, alpha-n maf delete with stage 3 evolve tune revving out to 8600 rpm
These are also 45-185 top end rolling runs which are the m5's strong point. Dig runs would have been better for the c63. Don't under estimate those v10's on a top end roll especially with alpha-n hardware/software revving to 8600rpm

Yeah I read the mod list. Just my opinion. Once you get a custom tune I think youl notice a big difference and the outcome will be worst for the m5. I'm meant to be racing a m5 tonight with very similar mod list to that m5 and I only have headers and tune. Will post video and results.

its funny how people underestimate the e60 m5/m6,they google 1/4 miles times n think thats the whole story lol
a bolt on s85 on the mexican autobahn is dumb fast n will hang with cars that trap 125mph
did i mention it can hit 200mph stock delimited.

Had a fun times as always guys!! Great group of dudes with great passion for their cars! ezec63 C63 is perection on earth of AMG's! i love that $#@!ing thing! gzim335 has come together so great, by far one of my most fav 335i. mybabyM5 E60 M5 is $#@!ing fast! thing is moving... I think he gets some long tube headers and evolve intakes, it will be great races coming up, stock airboxes and stock headers decat, i think he still has power left on the table, but i think he did extremely well aganist that beast C63.. Putting together some videos now, i think mybabyM5 is gonna post in a thread.
Welcome...
