Audi welcomes Porsche back to Le Mans and let's them know, it's on

Unless you have been living in a cave without internet access you know that the 24 Hours of Le Mans this year has a little extra spice to it. Porsche is returning to challenge for the overall 24 Hours of Le Mans after a 16 year absence. They have a very interesting challenger in the 919 Hybrid but Audi is letting Porsche know they are not afraid of their sibling from Stuttgart. Audi has, after all, dominated the 24 Hours of Le Mans for well over a decade now in Porsche's absence.

The video shows the 2014 Audi E-Tron driving on city streets in Germany and into Stuttgart. Audi then in no so subtle terms has the R18 do a set of burnouts in front of the Porsche headquarters to 'welcome' them back. There is clearly a lot of pride at stake here so we will see who takes it. It could be that it is neither Audi or Porsche as Toyota is also looking strong.

LOL !! one thing i love about Audi is they are just raw and don't give a $#@! when it comes to addressing competition.. just look at the billboard rivalries with BMW and all the commercial rivalries

Well Porsche and Audi are actually racing at Le Mans. BMW can sit there and work on billboards instead I guess.
