You always do this, just blindly defend your choice to send your tranny to Australia. My point seemed pretty clear, ok great so you got a company that according to you is the only company in the world making upgraded 6HP26 hard parts, to make you upgraded 2HP21 hard parts, well that's 1/2 of the problem. So what is their next step, hire a full time programmer / code cracker to hack the TCU and gain control of it, because without TCU control, you are basically throwing the transmission version of a stage 3 or single set up at it, and cant tune the DME. You can argue all day that this isn't the case, it is the case. When there is a hard parts, and TCU solution for the 6HP21 transmission there is a full transmission solution, not before. You are getting $#@! done on the hard part side I am not knocking that, hopefully someone will crack the TCU sooner than later. I mean shoot if its any indication to how tough the hard parts are in the stock tranny, AK is running 34 psi and hasn't lost his yet. So In my opinion for the power levels you guys are shooting for, the hard parts are the small issue, the TCU is the big one.
I don't know what you're not understanding...no one else is doing anything with the 6hp26. They're just not. Sure, there are disks, but no one else is doing custom billet input and intermediate shafts. On the ford version I'm sure, but not the ZF. And aside form that, never said no one else does, just said AFAIK, no one else is doing hardware and software on the 6hp26, and I believe that's the truth. There's only one option for the Ford 6r80, and it's SCT, and only a couple places offering clutch disks upgrades.

For the 6hp21, please tell me, who here in the united states is even looking at it? lvl10 is the only shop offering anything, and they're not exactly doing anything extensive. shimming the valvebody, rebuilding the TC, and rebuilding the transmission with stronger clutch disks, and I believe adding disks, which in the E-pack there is only room for 1. Nizpro is making a new basket for the E-clutch pack to fit more disks, then also a custom input shaft, and intermediate shaft, all to make the upgrade work. Like I said, no one else has even attempted this with the transmission. 1 additional clutch disk which is all lvl10 does is only good for maybe a 16% increase in power handling. From what people have researched the Alpina flash is actually pretty good, but with a very mild increase in hard parts, not going to do much. So...with a REAL hard parts upgrade, cooling, mounts, and alpina flash...we'll see what happens. Until the results are in, why don't you stop chiming in. Either come up with a solution or stop trying to troll every $#@!ing time it comes up.

Ok just some further info few things.

Nizpro isn't the only shop in Australia that has a 6HP26 gearbox program there are actually 4 shops.

    Nizpro
    CMS http://www.cmssydney.com.au/
    Dominello
    Monsta Torque

Yes I will give credit to Nizpro with their achievements to date though as you know you only go as fast as your wallet allows so it might be just the fact that Nizpro has had some bigger dollar customers then the others.

Also all the 6HP26 world records aren’t currently held by Nizpro at all they are actually held by Xtreme Ford Tuning in Perth.

Also just quick one on the 6R80 and the 6HP26, the yanks under license some years back made the 6R80 which is a direct copy of the ZF 6HP26 there were a few differences namely the front half of the box. The input shaft in the 6hp26 is 22 mm thick whereas the input shaft in the 6R80 is 26 mm. This alone has given the 6R80 a significant advantage over the 6HP strength wise, this coupled with a larger oil pump and the use of the exedy stage 2 frictions and twin turbos has allowed the Mustangs to dip into the the 8’s.
Due to the failure of the 6hp input shafts Nizpro developed a billet replacement which to date has been pretty much bullet proof, though like anything other shops have their versions as well and CMS are about to release their own version which will be a step up again on the drop in OEM style.
Before the exedy frictions were available we had to make use of the OEM ones and what the trick was was to actually use BWM steels which were thinner and do some additional machining within the box to allow up to 4 extra frictions to fit in each drum.
This worked for many years and then the exedy race frictions were released and of course they were a better option due to their more aggressive bite and friction qualities.
With regards to the tuning the ZF trans this is something that we’ve been able to do for some 3+ years now when using the SCT software you now have complete tune ability of the 6hp26 so you can go from soft OEM type gear changes right up to BANG BANG BANG type race shifts. Most guys remove the torque reduction (the farts between shifts) from the box which in its self livens up the driving feel.
And DQE92 my car is fitted with a 2800 hi stall made to suite the ZF 6HP26 made by TCE in Melbourne, my launches are at around 3000 rpm and that usually nets me low 1.5 60fts and for a car that weighs 1849 kgs that’s pretty good if you ask me.
My best mph to half track (660) so far has been 114.7 mph and that was with a 1.531 60ft, current ZF 6HP26 60ft record is 1.451
Anyways happy to chip in on any more questions you might have.

I'm trying to think of what forum section would be better suited for this.

I don't know anything about these cars except that they are popular in Australia apparently.

Yes they are quite popular in australia and there are lots of fast ones.
I spoke about a local airport event in my thread here.
A Falcon won the 2013 event and came fourth in the 2014 event by doing the standing KM in 20.363 seconds @ 287.92kmh.
Interestingly the top 4 (and 7 of the top 10) fastest speeds were all straight sixes.

any chance that coon was running a ridiculously big turbo and nos? there was one at WTAC that sounds like it could fit the bill - sucks at the half kilometer/quarter though, without drag tyres.

Yeah it had a built engine and massive turbo, no nos. I asked what size the turbo was and he wouldn't say. I think it was running Hoosiers and still had serious traction issues.

    This is it

damn, that's moving for a yacht.

different to the one i saw - from memory it was something idiotic like a GT55. I'm not even sure, too many properly massive turbo falcons here haha.

Yeah that's Tony's Bf F6 Turbo runs a precision turbo and now make more power than that run.

I'm pretty sure we will see an 8 sec pass in a ZF 6HP26 this year which will be a massive achievement.

This is new power and had not been re run on 1/4 or standing 1000:-

And here its the only video of its kind where you can hear the input shaft of a 6hp26 (in a aussie Falcon) snapping on a 3 2 drop back.
Learnt that day that you need more road speed in 3rd before you mash the pedal.
