GIAC tuned 996 Turbo X50 versus stock F10 M5 and OE Tuning tuned W204 C63 AMG
The 996 Turbo you will see in the videos below has the X50 option. What this option provided was larger K24 turbochargers over the standard K16 turbochargers the 996 Turbo comes with. These are the same turbos used on the 996 GT2 and they also came standard on the 996 Turbo S. Essentially, they allow larger tune only power and torque gains than the K16's. This Turbo is tuned by GIAC and also featured Forge Motorsport Wastegates and an IPD intake plenum.
The first run is against a stock F10 M5. The M5 starts ahead of the turbo and gets a bit of a jump but the 996 Turbo starts to reel it in fairly quickly. It is pulling the F10 M5 very clearly up top making up the distance and managing to edge ahead before the cones. Definitely an impressive showing considering how far it started from behind.
The second run is against an OE Tuning tuned W204 C63 AMG with full bolt ons. The C63 starts out a bit ahead as well. The Turbo makes quick work of it though pulling past easily. Why there is only a single forward facing camera angle used on this run is anyone's guess as it is difficul to tell just how far ahead the Turbo was. Regardless, this was not nearly as close of a race as with the F10 M5.

Well that just says something about those M5 F10s, ridiculously fast. Can be beasts for no cash at BMS

BTW theK24 turbos in the Porsche are rated up to what hp ??Driving fresh air now
