      So this is the new thing that will be implemented in a lot of future cars
      Besides Ferrari and Volvo, Mercedes will implement Apple's Carplay into their next models.
      Expect this list of manufacturers to expand

      I would hate apple software in my car.
      Fortunately Google is working on a similar system.
      Rumors are though BMW will also incorporate Carplay...
      In fact, Apple is talking to BMW, Ford, Honda, Hyundai, Jaguar Land Rover, Kia, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Peugeot Citroën, Subaru, Suzuki and Toyota to get this implemented...

      Google is working with General Motors, Audi and Honda in the 'Open Automotive Alliance' to implement Android.
      This project is named "Projected Mode".

      Let's just hope you'll be given a choice what OS you can have in your car when this battle is finished.
