GIAC tuned 997.2 Turbo S versus Renntech tuned W212 E63 AMG run two

Yesterday a video was posted showing a Porsche 997.2 Turbo running various cars from a roll. One of those cars was a Renntech tuned 2013 E63 AMG. The run shows the PDK Turbo edging the E63 in the race although the E63 is coming back strong up top. The run was posted from the 911 Turbo's perspective. The rematch was conveniently omitted from the compilation but fortunately the E63 owner had his own video and posted it.

In the second run the E63 gets a better start versus the Turbo which was frequently jumping early against its competition. With a more favorable start the E63 is able to open a gap on the 997.2 turbo and take the win. It clearly is the more powerful of the two but due to the relatively short 1/3 mile difference an early start can have a tremendous impact on who reaches the finish line first and a less powerful car can take the win in such an instance.

The turbo upgrade numbers aren't even near 1000 so I think you are looking at corrected figures:
