The 12C didn't rape both cars, it lost to the white one, am I the only one that saw this? It seems like the C5 had a bad gear shift or something in the 30 roll race, but in the 50 it was clearly the fastest of the 3 cars there. Even against the C6Z06 from a 50 the 12C didn't walk away like I thought it would, I wish they both would have stayed in it longer from a 50 roll with the Vette getting the hit, mind it you it was also a manual, but great showing for what mods those vettes had against a supercar like that

I watched it again and run #5 shows what you are talking about.

It looks like the shift speed of the MP4 just kills the Vette down low and causes it to open up a lead. On the higher speed rolls the white car does better and it's clearly making more power but just not using it as efficiently.

Yeah, pretty much my analogy, great showing IMO for a relatively lightly modded American up against a supercar giant Mclaren. I think you're right in that the transmission just makes the lower roll unfair, a dig race would just be a slaughter.
