Dinan launches lightweight 20 inch forged performance wheels for the F10 M5 and F12/F13 M6
The truth is most people buy wheels for their BMW for looks. They go for the largest rims possible not taking the weight or tire choices into account because appearance is what matters most of them. Those are not the people on this website and those are not the people at Dinan. Performance is what we are about and Dinan is catering to the performance crowd with a new set of lightweight wheels designed specifically for the F10 M5 and F12/F13 M6 with a custom offset.
This forged rims are 20x9.5 in front and 20x10.5 in back. The recommended tire size in front is 285mm wide which is an increase of 20mm over the stock 265. In back, the recommended size is 305mm also an increase by 20mm from the stock 285mm. These rims will allow one to increase the contact patch considerably all around without ruining the factory balance.
How much do they weigh? 22 pounds for the front and 23 pounds for the rear which is very light for a 20 inch rim.

MORR VS7's were 19's and weighed 19.5lbs I believe. An extra inch of width and height makes up 3 pounds? I'm not really one to say.

Yeah I'm sure. The spoke design doesn't quite do it for me though. Not a bad look however. It's funny because for the longest time, I never liked the way Dinan wheels looked. Very plain, very understated. They didn't seem to fit BMW style language at all. However, I almost feel like they would have gone well on the F10. But they were heavy as hell compared to these.
