Porsche shows what goes into their 2014 LMP1 effort with The Porsche LMP1 Infrastructure video

By now you should know Porsche is returning to challenge for the overall victory at Le Mans with an LMP1 car for 2014. Porsche made this announcement way back in 2011 and since then has been steadily updating the public with their progress. Most recently, Porsche showed off pictures of their LMP1 car with a press release less than a couple months ago. The video below is the latest update showing the entire 120 member team effort.

Porsche has a dedicated facility just for the LMP1 car and the team. All team members work together closely in this arrangement. Porsche is clearly very serious about preventing sibling Audi from taking their overall Le Mans victory record which stands at sixteen. Audi is in second place with twelve.

Next year is going to be very interesting with Audi finally getting some real competition.
