Hello guys we had a few races between my C63AMG And Modded BMW M5 V10
And a Demo 2014 E63AMG Rear wheel drive STOCK ....

Some great runs from a roll here between a bolt on modified W204 C63 AMG (headers, exhaust, tune) and a stock W212 E63 AMG as well as bolt on modified E60 M5. The cars interestingly enough are fairly close so whomever got on the gas first had an advantage. In the second run between the C63 and the E63 the E63 shows the M157 has a bit more muscle as it is able to pull up top. The final run between the two shows that heat soak quickly sets in with the naturally aspirated C63 AMG pulling hard.

The M157 just does not have the consistency of the M156 as to be expected especially in 90 degree weather. The M5 and the C63 are fairly evenly matched with just a slight edge to the V10 top end. It just goes to show how strong the S85 motor is up top despite giving up 1.2 liters in displacement to the M156 in the C63 AMG.

These type of videos are maybe the best real world (not dyno) examples of direct competitor cars in the same buyer space... really great stuff

thanks to OP for adding... the V10 M5 is certainly much better than I otherwise thought looking at this versus the 2014 AMG which I thought would pulverise IT
