    The way I see it is, every time I pushed the car on the highway, put that pedal all the way down as the speedometer kept moving, I'm putting my life at risk. This is MY choice. If someone wants to run and do the same, that's their choice also. That's all fine and dandy. But once I see any car in the horizon, I'm backing down. Weaving in between traffic? Doing 100+mph passed other people trying to get home? Someone else in my car? No. They didn't make the choice to put their life at risk, and I sure as hell shouldn't make the choice for them.

    You want to race? You want to put your life at risk? That's fine, no one here is going to give you $#@! for that, but make sure you're the only one in your car and preferably there is only one person in the car you're racing against on a highway with no one around. Accidents are just that, accidents. They are unplanned and well, a tire blowing out at 35mph sucks, but it can be much worse at 135mph as you weave through commuters.
    For the record there is no one else on the road our direction and there was no weaving through commuters. Outside this one pull I am a safe driver with no canyon running or random street races. I completely agree with having passengers, they wanted to come and there were passengers in the s4. I should have said not raced him on these circumstances and now I understand. Now back on point he should have the apr tune soon!

    I would like to see more nodded audits out there, seems like Audi is re-viving the rs line so maybe we'll start to see them. Competition is good.

    Thanks auto-correct bull $#@!...will be interesting to see what happens with the new RS packaged cars back. I know the S5 sounds nasty with a good exhaust, but still just not very quick. FBO S4 in 11's? didn't think they were that quick FBO, got a vid? I gotta see that.

    LOL ... I knew youd get a rise of that...

    I really love the m3 but in my area ive yet to see one with any type of impressive performance in NA form...

    Latest Atco event a bolt on m3 was doing low 13s at 109 lol...

    The highest trap was 117 right? And done only by 1 car? or 2? I know you had a good time as well but the majority of the na m3s are there are nothing to write home about esp in 6m... which my buddies s4 is... NA m3s just arent 1/4 mile cars its not there thing, doesnt take away from the fact its one of the sickest cars on the road regardless of the price

    Just like any car it needs to be prepped right for the strip.

    I went to the strip with my E92 M3 and was running low 12's while another guy was in the 13's on his 20's. I don't know why he even showed up.

    6-speed manual is a liability that's why the car has a dual clutch as it gets quicker performance from the same power.

    The NA M3 is quite effective unless being able to run 11's just doesn't cut it these days.

    If someone did one up with a stroker motor, heads, cams, what exactly would be wrong with that? ~500 whp all motor yet people rave about N54's in the low 400's. I don't get it.

    @Sticky

    I wish you woulda been at the track with me a couple weeks ago. There was about every perfomance BMW model represented surprisingly, except the only guy with an M3 was a young kid. Auto, and only got into 13's once maybe twice. Him and his friends embarassed the BMW name as they trash talked beating a FBO mazda 3speed by running a 13.6 last run of the night....REALLY? Of course he didn't even talk to me or a guy with an m6 there....I tried talking to him but he was too in tune with making sure his friends thought this car was impressive....it's guys (kids) like that that give too many people the wrong impression of BMW owners...

    There's idiots in every car market. I mean it sucks when a douche is representing your own but what can you do? At least you are educated and know better.

    Yeah, I just wish you coulda been there with your car, with any luck he woulda left after your first run...or at worst he would just feel small and stfu. Plus his friends (several young cute girls I might add) would come huddle around your car *cough* maybe our cars and then see the look on his face...
