I think kids growing up today won't even consider BMW a luxury brand in the future. They will have so many models and low budget cars on the road, they simply will kill their brand image.

The only car I would remotely consider on this platform would be an A45 AMG competitor. I'm not holding my breath. I don't see the A45 getting surpassed by a BMW any time soon.

This is why my 2011 X5 is the last BMW I will ever own... Oh well, BMW know's best for their bottom line, that's it... Who cares what the people really want, as long as BMW lines their pockets with green... I understand it's always about money in the end... Guess they figured it was time to sell out

where does this picture come from? I thought the 2 series would remain RWD even when the 1 series was passing to FWD....

So the GM approach, that worked out well.
Build similar cars on same chasiss, with three different badges.

More money = more money for research= better cars for us. Even //M cars... I see how it can be perceived as a bad thing but I can see this as helping the entire bmw lineup..

Heh, THIS.
If they were doing cool things with M I wouldn't care. Whatever, sell the garbage to the masses if they think it's great. But all BMW has been talking about is the 'i3' and plug-in hybrids.
Don't you guys get it? It's over. They want to be eco-hippies now.BRAND NEW IN BOX 991.2 standard/non-pse SPW cat bypass pipe for sale - $899 shipped
