ESS VT2-625 supercharged DCT E92 M3 versus Paxton supercharged 2013 Mustang 5.0
Yet another great video from the No Fly Zone event (expect a whole lot of race videos to be posted throughout this week). Strong Mustang here running a Paxton 2200SL supercharger through the stock exhaust system with a 6-speed manual transmission. This Mustang is said to be putting down in the ~600 wheel horsepower range and also was able to dispatch a Weistec Stage II supercharged W204 Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG.
The blown Mustang 5.0 also beats this ESS DCT M3 although the M3 does hang in pretty well seemingly getting a small jump likely due to the Mustang starting in a higher gear (3rd gear around 3500 rpm) due to traction issues in second gear. Video is below.

If that Mustang really throws down ~600whp, then AMAZING work by the ESS VT2-625.
It's amazing what a blower and DCT can really do.
Both insanely fast cars!2002 E46 M3 6MT | Jet Black . Black Nappa | My GermanBoost Build Thread

I was the Mustang's "victim" in this run...He was running close to 600whp on a 97 octane tune (using Torco). Mustang owner is a close friend so this morning there is a lot of $#@! talking here @ work .
I was a foot back from his bumper at the half mile mark....

In that run I started in 3rd at 3500rpm, so he got a big jump. I ran him again starting at 50mph at 4500rpm and I won by 2+ cars. Either way it was pretty close. DCT sure helps. Cars were getting heatsoaked pretty bad later in the day so power levels were dropping.

Here is my dyno from a week ago from a tuning session at Cunningham Motorsports. This is a Torco map.
Thanks Ryne for a reliable tune

nope, all I got from the tuner. I was making very similar power on a dynojet with SAE correction, so it should be pretty close.

They had one run and the Weistec pulled a bit on the M3, but it did get the jump. I'd say they are pretty close.
