The OEM Mercedes-Benz jack is the biggest POS in the world...
So I have had to change two Mercedes flats in the past year. Both cars had the beyond $#@!ty Mercedes-Benz jack that sort of plugs into the sideskirt.
This is what I mean:
It will raise the car but since the base is so small even the slightest incline will cause the car to tip forward or back. Trying to change a tire with it is a nightmare. What was Mercedes thinking?
Had to end up calling Triple-A and was not able to impress a woman with my spare tire changing skills

Wow, cannot agree with you more, the older BMWs specifically my friend's 02 740i has a very similar jack, car was on like a .1% incline and tipped back..fell straight on the rotor since one rear wheel was off...we both shat our pants haha. Luckily it just bent the plate around the rotor and drove fine afterward. Guess that's why they switched to runflats hah

No matter how many times I tried I could not get the car to not move... seems incredibly dangerous.

Check out an Audi jack out of a 2005 S4, that $#@!er tipped on me while taking the wheel off and got my fingers stuck between the tire and fender.....that was a fun time.

It's a Mercedes, they're expecting 99.5% of their clientele doesn't know how to change a flat and has some form of roadside assistance. Surprised there's even a jack & not a bottle of wine in there instead.
