MODDED M3 DCT WALKS ISF
not me, but good find from youtube
seems like the mods on the M3 are catless exhaust (based on sound) and tune....
just shows the potential of the M3 when modded..

No surprise. I had some prick named HoustonT on 6speed arguing with me back in the day that there was no way my M3 could take his ISF. Well, there you have it. I also posted my slips but he still didn't believe the DCT made a difference...
That is a large beatdown though, people don't get how quick the DCT's are, good post.

No suprise here either. I've beaten a modded(tune, intake, exhaust) isF in my fbo+meth n54. 3 back to back runs of 50-120ish. Had him by 1.5-2 cars everytime.

Ran my friend's ISF in my e93 back when I had a JB3, from 60 I had him to about 100 then ofcourse his V8 takes over and my weight slows me down. Still surprising. I should run him again after the FMIC

I have always loved the IS-F...I've been wanting to test drive one for a while now...looking forward to the next generation of F cars...I think Lexus is on to something.

When the IS-F and the M3 came out he went around on 6speed saying how weak the M3 is and how he beats them easily blah blah blah. I told him he had never run a DCT and a DCT would make easy work of the IS-F. He then challenged me a cross country race blah blah blah and showed his timeslip as evidence of it being faster. Well, when I posted my slip showing several tenths and a couple MPH on him he shut up pretty fast. He talked a whole lot of $#@! without even understanding the difference between M3 transmissions.

was your m3 modded? what elevation was your track at? what was the DA? Lots of variables. ISF is/was faster than m3 in a straight line.
Peter now has UGR TT Gallardo and a GTR.

How the hell is an ISF faster when the video shows the ISF getting walked hard? A DCT M3 is faster than an ISF.
His IS-F was modded. My track times were significantly faster than his or any IS-F at the time and secondly there were faster 60-130's than his by around 2 seconds from other DCT M3's. So, there was more than one measurement reinforcing my point. He acted like the IS-F was in a whole different league, which was preposterous.
Good for him, but he was wrong about the IS-F vs. the M3.

ISFs are so rare. I test drove one before the C63 purchase. ISF shifts fast. Good effort by Lexus.
